Binita Baral out of Chapali Height sequel, search going on for new actress

The Chapali Girl, the actress of ‘Chapali Height‘, actress Binita Baral is out of the sequel of the movie ‘Chabali height 2′. According to the producer Arjun Kumar has told that he had kicked her out of the movie because of her ego problem. But, Binita says that she has chosen not to do the movie. According to a report in an online portal, Arjun Kumar is looking for a new face to replace Binita Baral in the sequel. The  relationship between Arjun Kumar and Binita had also turned sour over the cover design of the movie (read the height of controversy over ‘Chapali Height‘). The government had objected the nudity in the cover and was asked to change it. The order had cost the film makers some Rs. 250,000 to redesign and reprint the posters.

The script of ‘Chapali Height 2′ is being written while Dipendra K Khanal is preparing to direct the sequel of the super-hit movie.

After Binita’s second movie ‘Full Stop’ flopped, Binita’s acting career has also reached to the full stop (watch ‘Full Stop’ here). Binita is currently busy in her new organic farming business. In addition to farming Binita is also writing a novel titled ‘Juino’ (report in nepaliactress).

Namrata Shrestha and Aryan Sigdel to be blind in Classic

The actors of the successful movie of 2071 BS, ‘November Rain’ are being repeated in the movie by the same team, ‘Classic’. The cast and the crew of the movie was officially announced on the last day of 2071. The movie to be produced jointly by actor Aryan Sigdel and Subash Giri will be directed by Dinesh Raut. Actress Namrata Shrestha will be featured opposite to Aryan.

‘Classic’ is being made on the story of Chetan Gurung and music of Taraprakash Limbu. Rajesh Shrestha will be the cinematographer, Himal KC will be fight director, the choreography of Nitin Chand and editing of Surendra Poudel. Kamal Giri is the executive producer of the movie. In the announcement ceremony the director Dinesh Raut told that he movie will be a musical love story. He also told that the movie will also help the blind children. According to report, most of the characters in the movie will have blind and Aryan and Namrata will also be featured as blind people in most of the movie. With Aryan and Namrata other actors in the movie include Shishir Rana, Samuna KC, Prajwal Giri, Sunil Rawal, Sushil Kafle and Pal Shah.

The movie goes on floor on April 28 (Baisakh 15) and is scheduled for the release on January 12, 2016. The music recording of the movie had already been done.

After ‘Mero Euta Sathi Chha’ (watch ‘Mero Euta Sathi Chha’ here) and ‘November Rain’, ‘Classic’ will be the third movie of Aryan-Namrata couple.

Friday Release – Seto Bagh, Hawaldar Suntali, Nai Nabhannu La 3

All three of the this Friday’s new release movies are most awaited movies of the year. A historical movie made on popular novel by Diamond Shumsher Rana, ‘Seto Bagh’ appeals to everybody with a little interest in history. Nir Shah has proven his ability in historical movie by making ‘Basanti’. Know to produce hit movie, Chhabi Raj Ojha‘s movie ‘Hawaldar Suntali’ and the third sequel of ‘Nai Nabhannu La’ series are also expected to be liked by the viewers. These movies are releasing in theaters all over Nepal on April 10, 2015.

Hawaldar Suntali

Chhabi camp’s most awaited movie ‘Hawaldar Suntali’ is based on the story of a real person, Suntali Dhami. Suntali was raped by her colleagues in Nepal Police. Three of the accused were jailed when found guilty. The movie however seem to be more commercial than a biography. It was a surprising revelation that the actress who played Suntali Dhami in the film hasn’t met the real Suntali so far. It seems, the director and the producers didn’t want Shilpa Pokhrel to meet the person who she was supposed to play in the movie.

Nai Nabhannu La 3

The sequel of hit movies ‘Nai Nabhannu La’ (click to watch ‘Nai Nabhannu La’) and ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2′ (click to watch ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2′), is expected to follow the tradition of being hit. Although the competition created by equally promising other two will divide the viewers, the reviews received in the premier were positive for the movie.

Seto Bagh

The traditional story made on the story of Rana time ‘Seto Bagh’ is made on a very popular novel by Diamond Shumsher Rana. The director and producer, Nir Shah has proved his ability to do justice to Diamond’s novel by producing hit movie ‘Basanti’ (click to watch ‘Basanti’ here).

Anup Baral announces Dokh in his birthday (officially)

We had told about Anup’s new movie ‘Dokh’ and its story theme in our earlier post. Anup officially announced the movie during the celebration of his birthday on Saturday, April 4, at Shilpi Theater, Kathmandu. The birthday cake was specially designed to convey the theme of the movie – football game.

In the event, Anup cut his birthday cake and shared it with the artists and the crew. He also announced the film title and the production crew. The story of ‘Dokh’ was selected in a script writing contest. Rajan Kathet had written the story of the movie.

‘Dokh’ is the second movie of Anup Baral after directing his previous movie ‘Fitkiree’. The movie is being produced by the Australian company that had produced ‘Ritu’ (watch ‘Ritu’ here), ALP Entertainment.

The artists in the movie ‘Dokh’ are mostly the theater artists. The main actors in the movie are Lokmani Sapkota, Roy Shrestha, Diwaj Kirati Rai, Raj Thapa, Suraj Mall, Keshav Rai, Diya Maskey and others.

The shooting of the movie is scheduled to start on the first day of New year, April 14 in the shooting location in Bhojpur. For the preparation of the shooting Upendraman Singh and Amanpratap are teaching football game to the cast and the crew.

Nai Nabhannu La 3 premiered, Rekha appreciates Muskan Dhakal suspiciously

The premier show of this week’s release ‘Nai Nabhannu La 3′ was held on Monday in Kathmandu. In the show artists, technicians and journalists were invited. There were positive reviewers of the movie. The movie is releasing on theater on April 10 along with Chhabi Raj Ojha‘s movie ‘Hawaldar Suntali’ and Nir Shah‘s movie ‘Seto Bagh’.

In the premier the response Actress Rekha Thapa after watching the movie is linked to her ex-husband’s movie ‘Hawaldar Suntali’. Rekha rushed response to offer one of her future movies to the director Muskan Dhakal, left people wondering if she was pulling legs of her ex husband Chhabi. Rekha had hugged Muskan Dhakal and promised to make him the captain of one of her future movies.

Muskan Dhakal has debuted in direction in the movie. Before being a director he had worked as assistant director of late director Shiva Regmi and most of Bikash Acharya‘s movies.

The censor board has given NNL 3 a ‘U’ certificate. The movie features Aryan Sigdel, Priyanka Karki, Anubhav Regmi, Sanchita Luitel, Suraj Singh Thakuri, and Garima Pant.  Although the movie is a sequel of a hit movie ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2′ (click here to watch ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2′) and ‘Nai Nabhannu La’ (click here to watch ‘Nai Nabhannu La’), the director has told that there is on connection in the story between the previous releases.
